Diabalo is a sweetspot/threshold focused workout. Constructed as a series of "YoYo's" that ask the rider to alternate between just below and just above threshold. Diablao exposes the rider to a good amount of time very close to their current FTP.
This is a great workout to help build high paced sustainable power (for events such as triathlons, time trials or longer hill climbs). Pay close attention to your power targets and keep in mind these are relatively long intervals, pacing is key.
